Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble merchandise such as BBQ grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, bikes, wheelbarrows, and outdoor storage sheds in retail store environments
- Utilize personal tools, including cordless impact drivers, drills, sockets, pliers, screwdrivers, and utility knives, to complete product assemblies safely and accurately
- Ensure all assembled items meet company quality standards and customer satisfaction requirements
- Document work completion using a smartphone app for photos, scanning, and invoicing
- Manage your own schedule and availability through the company’s self-scheduling system
- Maintain a strong focus on punctuality and reliability to qualify for increased commission rates and higher job priority
- Work independently or collaboratively in retail environments, adapting to a variety of product assembly tasks

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ownership of reliable personal transportation to travel to job sites
- Smartphone equipped with a working camera for documentation and invoicing
- Personal toolkit, preferably including an 18V cordless impact driver/drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability in all assignments
