Assembly Technician - Summary
- Responsible for assembling a variety of retail products in-store, such as BBQ grills, bikes, lawn mowers, outdoor equipment, patio furniture, storage sheds, and more.
- Work independently at major retail locations, following assembly instructions and safety protocols.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble large-item retail products efficiently and accurately according to manufacturer and store guidelines.
- Utilize personal tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Ensure all assembled products meet quality and safety standards before store display or customer delivery.
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone for photos, scanning, and invoicing through a dedicated app.
- Maintain punctuality for scheduled assembly assignments and consistently deliver reliable, high-quality results.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and client requirements while on site.
- Communicate effectively with store staff and company supervisors as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically able to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs and perform large-item assembly tasks.
- Reliable personal transportation for travel to retail locations.
- Smartphone with a working camera for documentation and app usage.
- Personal tool set including, but not limited to, an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical instructions.
