With M&C, the leading in-store assembly services provider, Assembly Technicians are responsible for assembling merchandise such as BBQ grills, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, bicycles, and other large-item products. Assembly Technicians must be able to transport themselves reliably to various retail stores and possess the necessary hand and power tools for the job, including but not limited to an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and a rubber mallet. A smartphone with a working camera is also required for job documentation and communication within the company's app.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly, as the job involves the assembly and movement of large retail items. No formal experience is required, but a mechanical aptitude and willingness to work efficiently are essential.
