Assembly Technician - Summary- Responsible for in-store assembly of large retail products including BBQ grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, storage sheds, and bicycles.
- Self-scheduling allows for flexible work hours and days, empowering technicians to manage their own workload.
- Performance-based pay structure with no cap on earnings. The more you assemble efficiently and accurately, the more you earn.
- Weekly pay cycles and automated pay increases based on punctuality, reliability, and quality of work.
- Assemble various retail products inside major stores following manufacturer and company guidelines.
- Ensure all assembled products meet quality and safety standards prior to store display or customer delivery.
- Use personal tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
- Use a smartphone for job check-ins, photos, scanning, and invoicing through company app.
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time for all assignments to maximize commission rates.
- Communicate with store staff and supervisors as needed to coordinate assembly priorities and resolve any issues.
- Demonstrate reliability and responsibility by consistently showing up for scheduled shifts and completing all assigned builds.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and guidelines when assembling products in-store.
- Performance-based pay with average hourly earnings and potential for high commission rates based on volume and efficiency.
