Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble various retail products inside major stores following manufacturer and company guidelines.
- Ensure all assembled products meet quality and safety standards prior to store display or customer delivery.
- Use personal tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
- Use a smartphone for job check-ins, photos, scanning, and invoicing through company app.
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time for all assignments to maximize commission rates.
- Communicate with store staff and supervisors as needed to coordinate assembly priorities and resolve any issues.
- Demonstrate reliability and responsibility by consistently showing up for scheduled shifts and completing all assigned builds.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and guidelines when assembling products in-store.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically able to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs and handle large-item assembly tasks.
- Reliable personal transportation is required for travel between retail locations.
- Smartphone with a working camera for job documentation and app-based processes.
- Must provide your own tools as outlined above.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow assembly instructions accurately.
