Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficiently assemble retail merchandise such as BBQ grills, patio furniture, lawn equipment, bikes, and large storage items within major retail locations.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and diagrams to ensure products are built to manufacturer specifications.
- Document completed work using a smartphone app for photos, scanning, and invoicing.
- Maintain punctuality and reliability, checking in on time for each assignment.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship that meets company standards and customer expectations.
- Utilize your personal toolkit, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Communicate professionally with store management and customers as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and guidelines during assembly work.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically able to lift and move 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Reliable personal transportation to travel between job sites.
- Smartphone with an operational camera for documenting and managing assignments via mobile app.
- Personal set of required tools: 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred), deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, utility knife, rubber mallet.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- No formal assembly experience required, but mechanical aptitude is essential.
