Are you looking for a hands-on role that rewards productivity, precision, and dependability? As an Assembly Technician, you will play a key part in assembling a wide variety of high-demand retail products directly inside major stores. This is a dynamic opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined and thrive in fast-paced environments. The role is open to motivated professionals who take pride in high-quality workmanship and want to maximize their earning potential through efficient and reliable work.
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for putting together merchandise such as BBQ grills, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, bikes, and other large-item builds. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety in their workdays, as assignments will change and offer fresh challenges regularly. With a performance-based pay structure, your earnings are directly linked to the number of accurate, timely assemblies you complete, allowing top performers to significantly increase their income.
Technicians who excel in this role are reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. You will have the flexibility to self-schedule your days, giving you complete control over your availability and work-life balance. Working as an Assembly Technician also means having the chance to work in familiar retail environments, often close to home, and taking on new tasks each day. Our system rewards technicians who consistently check in on time, deliver high-quality assemblies, and maintain a strong track record of reliability.
To succeed as an Assembly Technician, you must meet several essential requirements. You must be at least 18 years of age, physically able to lift and move heavy items repeatedly, and equipped with reliable personal transportation. Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is crucial, as is having your own set of essential tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, an adjustable wrench, a box cutter/utility knife, and a rubber mallet. A smartphone with a functioning camera is also required for completing photo documentation and invoicing through our app.
In addition to the technical and physical requirements, the Assembly Technician role values professionalism and a strong work ethic. Punctuality is rewarded with higher commission rates, and consistent reliability opens the door to more assignments and access to higher-volume stores. No formal experience is necessary, but you must be mechanically inclined and ready to learn quickly. We value self-motivated individuals who take initiative and are committed to delivering quality work on every project.
