As an Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in the construction and assembly of a wide range of retail products directly at major retail locations. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of large merchandise items directly inside retail stores. Your tasks may include reading and following assembly instructions, utilizing your own set of tools, ensuring all products are built to company standards, and maintaining a high level of quality and safety. Reliability and punctuality are highly valued, as these traits contribute to your eligibility for additional assignments and higher compensation rates. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be able to lift heavy items, and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
This position does not require previous professional assembly experience; however, you must be at least 18 years old, physically capable of lifting at least 50 pounds repeatedly, and possess a mechanical aptitude. All Assembly Technicians must have reliable personal transportation, a smartphone equipped with a camera for documentation and invoicing, and a personal toolkit including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and a rubber mallet.
