As an Assembly Technician, your primary responsibility will be to assemble a variety of large retail merchandise, including BBQ grills, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bicycles. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, as you will be responsible for ensuring that all items are built accurately, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications. Success as an Assembly Technician requires physical stamina, as the role involves lifting and assembling items weighing more than 50 pounds multiple times throughout the workday. You must have access to reliable personal transportation to travel between job sites, as well as a smartphone with a functioning camera to document completed work and process invoices through the company’s mobile application. Technicians are expected to provide their own set of essential tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen or hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, an adjustable wrench, a box cutter or utility knife, and a rubber mallet.
While no formal experience is required for the Assembly Technician position, a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to punctuality, reliability, and quality craftsmanship are essential.
