Our Assembly Technicians are entrusted with building items such as BBQ grills, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, bikes, sheds, and other large consumer goods. As an Assembly Technician, you will work on-site in major retail locations, ensuring products are assembled to manufacturer specifications and ready for customer use. Assembly Technician - Summary
- Perform on-site assembly of various retail products, including grills, furniture, outdoor equipment, and more, in a retail environment.
- Ensure all products are assembled according to manufacturer and company guidelines.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in every assembly project.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and follow all safety protocols while on the job site.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble products efficiently, safely, and correctly in retail locations.
- Use personal tools, including cordless drills, socket sets, wrenches, and other assembly equipment as required.
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone for photos, scanning, and invoicing through the company app.
- Manage your own schedule by blocking availability and accepting assignments via the company system.
- Uphold standards of punctuality and reliability, checking in on time for all assignments.
- Demonstrate speed and quality workmanship to qualify for higher pay rates and priority job assignments.
- Collaborate with team members and store staff to ensure a seamless workflow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more repeatedly.
- Reliable personal transportation to travel to various retail locations as assigned.
- Smartphone with a working camera, required for documentation and communication via the company app.
- Possession of personal tools, such as a cordless impact driver or drill (18V preferred), deep metric sockets, hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn assembly procedures for a variety of products.
- Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and producing quality work on every assignment.
