Are you a mechanically inclined individual looking for a dynamic hands-on role? As an Assembly Technician, you play a crucial part in assembling high-demand retail products for major stores. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who take pride in precision, reliability, and efficiency. In this contractor role, you will put together products such as BBQ grills, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bicycles, ensuring each item is built correctly and safely.

Our company is recognized as the largest in-store assembly provider in the country, trusted by leading retailers nationwide. As an Assembly Technician, you will benefit from a performance-based compensation system with no cap on your earning potential. The more efficiently and accurately you assemble products, the more you can earn. Our technicians enjoy the flexibility to self-schedule, allowing you to block out availability and have full control over your workdays and hours. This contractor opportunity offers weekly pay and a variety of work environments, keeping your day-to-day tasks fresh and engaging.

Successful candidates will be responsible for efficiently assembling a range of large and complex retail items, directly within store locations. Your role is vital in ensuring that merchandise is customer-ready, safe, and visually appealing on the sales floor. Not only will you be representing our company and our retail partners, but you will also be working independently and ensuring your work meets strict quality standards. Technicians who demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and superior workmanship are rewarded with preference for higher-volume assignments and increased commission rates.

Applicants should be motivated, customer-focused, and capable of handling physically demanding tasks, as products often require repetitive lifting of 50 pounds or more. You must be comfortable using your own set of tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, an adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and a rubber mallet. A reliable personal vehicle is essential for travel to different store locations, and a smartphone is required for using company apps to scan, invoice, and document completed work.

This opportunity does not require previous assembly experience, but a mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic are must-haves. We value punctuality, reliability, speed, and quality, and we reward these characteristics through higher commission rates, greater job access, and priority scheduling. Every day brings new challenges and the chance to work in various retail environments, making this an ideal position for those who enjoy variety and the satisfaction of a job well done.
