Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficiently assemble a wide range of retail products on-site at major retail locations, following manufacturer instructions and company quality standards.
- Use your own set of basic hand and power tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet, to complete assemblies accurately.
- Verify the completion and functionality of assembled products by conducting quality checks and documenting results with photos using a smartphone.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and company supervisors as needed to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
- Adhere to safety procedures and company guidelines throughout each project.
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time at each job site to maximize commission rates and access to additional assignments.
- Demonstrate reliability and a commitment to high-quality, efficient work, ensuring all assemblies meet customer and company expectations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Physically able to lift and maneuver items weighing 50 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Reliable personal transportation to travel between job sites as required.
- Smartphone with a functioning camera for documentation, scanning, and invoicing via company applications.
- Ownership of essential hand and power tools, including but not limited to an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, metric sockets, Allen/hex bits, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanically inclined and able to follow assembly instructions precisely, even if you have no formal assembly experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
