Assembly Technician - Summary- Join the largest in-store assembly services provider specializing in retail product assembly.
- Assemble a variety of large items such as BBQ grills, patio sets, bikes, outdoor power equipment, lawn mowers, wheelbarrows, and storage sheds directly inside major retail locations.
- Flexible, self-scheduled assignments with opportunities for increased earnings based on productivity and quality.
- Ideal for mechanically-inclined individuals who enjoy physical, hands-on work and problem-solving challenges.
- Efficiently assemble a wide range of retail products on-site at major retail locations, following manufacturer instructions and company quality standards.
- Use your own set of basic hand and power tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet, to complete assemblies accurately.
- Verify the completion and functionality of assembled products by conducting quality checks and documenting results with photos using a smartphone.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and company supervisors as needed to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
- Adhere to safety procedures and company guidelines throughout each project.
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time at each job site to maximize commission rates and access to additional assignments.
- Demonstrate reliability and a commitment to high-quality, efficient work, ensuring all assemblies meet customer and company expectations.

- Ownership of essential hand and power tools, including but not limited to an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, metric sockets, Allen/hex bits, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanically inclined and able to follow assembly instructions precisely, even if you have no formal assembly experience.
