Assembly Technician - Summary- Responsible for assembling a variety of large-item retail products in major stores
- Flexible self-scheduling and performance-driven pay structure

- Assemble products such as BBQ grills, patio furniture, lawn mowers, outdoor storage sheds, wheelbarrows, and bicycles according to manufacturer specifications
- Follow assembly instructions and safety guidelines to ensure products are built accurately and safely
- Utilize personal tools including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet
- Document work by taking photos, scanning barcodes, and invoicing through a mobile app
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time at assigned job sites
- Deliver quality workmanship and maintain high standards of reliability and professionalism
- Adapt to a variety of assembly tasks and new challenges each day
- Performance-based pay structure with no cap on earnings
- Weekly pay with opportunities to earn higher commission rates based on punctuality and productivity
- Automated pay increases tied to job site check-ins, unit completion, and high-volume assembly
- Priority access to more assignments and higher-value locations for top-performing technicians
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Physically able to lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Reliable personal transportation required to travel between job sites
- Smartphone with a working camera for photo documentation, scanning, and invoicing
- Ownership of required tools as specified above
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hands-on assembly work
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently under minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
