Assembly Technician - Summary
- Assemble large-item retail products inside major stores, including BBQ grills, patio furniture, outdoor equipment, bikes, and more.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficiently assemble a wide range of retail products on-site, ensuring all builds are completed accurately and to quality standards.
- Manage assigned assembly tasks through a mobile application, including check-ins, photo documentation, and invoicing.
- Utilize your own toolkit, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
- Maintain a strong focus on punctuality by checking in on time for scheduled assignments, which directly impacts commission rate.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines during assembly, handling products and tools with care.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with store staff and supervisors.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality assembly work to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat assignments.
- Travel between assigned retail locations using reliable personal transportation as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically able to lift and move items weighing 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Possess reliable personal transportation to travel to assigned locations.
- Own a smartphone with a working camera for app-based assignment management, photo documentation, and invoicing.
- Have your own tools as listed: 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to follow assembly instructions and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work efficiently.
