Assembly Technicians play an essential role in delivering a seamless customer experience by assembling products directly in the stores where customers shop. Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble products such as grills, BBQs, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture sets, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bikes following manufacturer instructions.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, including 18V cordless impact drivers or drills, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit sets, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrenches, box cutters, utility knives, and rubber mallets.
- Ensure all assembled products meet company and manufacturer quality standards, are safe, and ready for customer use.
- Document completed work using a smartphone app for photos, scanning, and invoicing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area within the retail store environment.
- Communicate effectively with store management and team members as needed.
- Consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts and maintain a high level of reliability.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures throughout the assembly process.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically able to lift and maneuver items weighing 50 pounds or more repeatedly.
- Reliable personal transportation to reach multiple job sites as assigned.
- Smartphone with a working camera for app-based documentation, scanning, and invoicing.
- Ownership of required tools, including but not limited to: 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred), deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to follow assembly instructions accurately.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential; on-time check-in is rewarded with higher commission rates.
