Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a variety of large-item retail products such as grills, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bicycles at major retail locations.
- Ensure all assembled merchandise is completed efficiently, accurately, and according to the manufacturer’s specifications and safety guidelines.
- Utilize your own set of tools, including but not limited to an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Use a smartphone to scan, take photos, and complete invoicing through the M&C Assemblies app as part of the assembly process.
- Manage your own schedule by systematically blocking availability and selecting assignments close to home, providing flexibility and autonomy over your workdays and hours.
- Adhere strictly to punctual check-in and quality standards, as timely attendance and high workmanship are rewarded with increased commission rates and access to higher-volume stores.
- Maintain consistent communication with M&C Assemblies management and store staff to ensure workflow efficiency and resolve any assembly-related issues promptly.
- Perform all tasks while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive, performance-based compensation structure. Average earnings of $20/hr, with top performers achieving up to $60/hr equivalent. No cap on earnings; pay is based on the number and quality of assemblies completed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs and complete physically demanding assembly tasks.
- Reliable personal transportation to commute to different retail locations as required.
- Ownership of a smartphone with a working camera for app-based tasks such as photos, scanning, and invoicing.
- Possession of your own tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred), deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn assembly procedures for a wide range of products.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to quality workmanship.
