Assembly Technician - Summary
- Responsible for assembling retail products on-site at major stores.
- Builds a variety of large-item merchandise, including grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, storage sheds, and bikes.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a diverse range of retail products in-store, following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
- Ensure all assembled items meet quality and safety standards before customer presentation.
- Communicate effectively with store staff and team members regarding assembly tasks and timelines.
- Document completed work using a smartphone app, including photos, scanning, and invoicing.
- Manage your own schedule and availability to maximize productivity and earnings.
- Maintain punctuality and reliability to secure higher commission rates and additional assignments.
- Utilize personal hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically able to lift and handle items weighing 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable personal transportation is required.
- Smartphone with a working camera for documenting and invoicing tasks.
- Personal set of tools, including (but not limited to):
- 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred)
- Deep metric sockets
- Allen/hex bit set
- Cutting pliers
- Multiple screwdrivers
- Adjustable wrench
- Box cutter/utility knife
- Rubber mallet
- No formal assembly experience required, but mechanical aptitude is essential.
