Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a wide range of products, including grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, bikes, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and similar items.
- Ensure all products are assembled correctly, efficiently, and meet company and safety standards.
- Utilize personal hand and power tools to complete assemblies as required.
- Document completed work using a smartphone app (for photos, scanning, and invoicing).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the retail environment.
- Arrive at job sites on time and communicate effectively with store personnel and company management.
- Self-manage daily schedule and availability using the company’s scheduling system.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically able to lift and move items weighing 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable personal transportation to job sites.
- Smartphone with a functioning camera for job documentation and communication.
- Ownership of essential tools, including:
- 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred)
- Deep metric sockets
- Allen/hex bit set
- Cutting pliers
- Multiple screwdrivers
- Adjustable wrench
- Box cutter/utility knife
- Rubber mallet
- No formal experience required, but a mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are essential.
