Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficiently assemble merchandise such as grills, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, storage sheds, wheelbarrows, and bikes at retail locations.
- Ensure all assemblies meet company standards for safety, quality, and accuracy.
- Use your own tools, including cordless drills, metric sockets, allen/hex bit sets, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrenches, box cutters, and rubber mallets, to complete builds.
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone for photos, scanning, and invoicing through our company app.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and your team to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues.
- Maintain punctuality, reliability, and professionalism on every assignment.
Salary & Benefits
- Performance-based compensation with average earnings of $20 per hour and top performers earning up to $60 per hour equivalent with no cap.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years required.
- Physically able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and assemble large items safely.
- Must have reliable personal transportation to travel between job sites.
- Smartphone with a functioning camera for documentation, scanning, and invoicing.
- Ownership of required assembly tools, including a cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow assembly instructions accurately.
