Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a variety of retail products, such as grills, patio furniture, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, bikes, wheelbarrows, and storage sheds
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and safety guidelines to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Utilize your own set of mechanical tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone app for tracking and invoicing
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and M&C Assemblies support team as needed
- Adhere to scheduling commitments and consistently check in on time at each job site

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Reliable personal transportation to travel between job sites
- Smartphone with working camera for documentation and invoicing
- Own set of mechanical hand tools, including (but not limited to):
- 18V cordless impact driver or drill (preferred)
- Deep metric sockets
- Allen/hex bit set
- Cutting pliers
- Multiple screwdrivers
- Adjustable wrench
- Box cutter/utility knife
- Rubber mallet
- Mechanically inclined and able to follow assembly instructions
- Punctual and reliable with excellent attendance record
