Assembly Technician - Summary
- Responsible for in-store assembly of large-item retail merchandise, including grills, outdoor equipment, furniture, bikes, and more

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a variety of products such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, outdoor sheds, wheelbarrows, and bicycles according to manufacturer instructions
- Utilize personal toolkit, including cordless drills, metric sockets, screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, utility knives, and more
- Check in at job sites punctually and maintain reliable attendance for scheduled assignments
- Use a smartphone application for assignment management, photo documentation, scanning, and invoicing
- Meet or exceed daily performance goals for volume and quality of assemblies
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment within retail settings
- Communicate professionally with retail staff and customers as needed
- Follow all company policies and assembly procedures to ensure customer satisfaction
Salary & Benefits
- Performance-based compensation: average earnings of $20/hr, with top performers reaching $60/hr equivalent
- No cap on earnings; the more you assemble efficiently and accurately, the more you can earn

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Physically able to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs and handle large-item assembly work
- Reliable personal transportation to travel to store locations
- Smartphone with a functional camera for operational app use
- Ownership of required tools, including (but not limited to): 18V cordless impact driver or drill, metric sockets, allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet
- Mechanically inclined and able to follow detailed instructions
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability
- No formal assembly experience required, but a strong work ethic is essential
