Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a wide range of products, especially bicycles, according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines
- Ensure all products are built accurately, safely, and within specified timelines
- Prepare retail locations for optimal sales performance by assembling display models and ensuring product readiness
- Utilize specialized bicycle assembly tools, including Allen (hex) sockets/keys, torque wrench, pedal wrench, and others
- Perform quality assurance checks on completed assemblies
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members regarding assembly status and issues
- Use a smartphone with a camera for invoicing and documentation purposes
- Comply with company safety protocols and operational procedures
Salary & Benefits
- Performance-based compensation with a flat commission rate per item assembled

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
- Successful completion of background and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Reliable transportation for commuting to retail locations
- Ability to check in before 8am as needed
- Own a smartphone with a working camera
- Possess personal bicycle assembly tools, including but not limited to: 3/8 drive Allen (hex) sockets/keys, torque wrench, pedal wrench, diagonal cutting pliers, screwdrivers, bike stand, air compressor, floor pump, and tire pressure gauge
