Assembly Technician - Summary- Hands-on assembly and preparation of products, with a primary focus on bicycle assembly, in retail environments
- Performance-based, full-time employment with opportunities for growth and development

- Assemble a wide range of products, especially bicycles, according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines
- Ensure all products are built accurately, safely, and within specified timelines
- Prepare retail locations for optimal sales performance by assembling display models and ensuring product readiness
- Utilize specialized bicycle assembly tools, including Allen (hex) sockets/keys, torque wrench, pedal wrench, and others
- Perform quality assurance checks on completed assemblies
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members regarding assembly status and issues
- Use a smartphone with a camera for invoicing and documentation purposes
- Comply with company safety protocols and operational procedures
- Performance-based compensation with a flat commission rate per item assembled
- W2 employment status

- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
- Successful completion of background and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Reliable transportation for commuting to retail locations
- Ability to check in before 8am as needed
- Own a smartphone with a working camera
- Possess personal bicycle assembly tools, including but not limited to: 3/8 drive Allen (hex) sockets/keys, torque wrench, pedal wrench, diagonal cutting pliers, screwdrivers, bike stand, air compressor, floor pump, and tire pressure gauge
- Resume required for application
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with proven reliability
- Previous bicycle assembly experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Effective communicator with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility in work hours, with availability as early as 6am and as late as 7pm, Monday through Friday, based on client needs
