As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling high-demand retail products inside major stores. The work includes building items such as grills, BBQs, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture sets, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, bikes, and other large items. Every day brings new projects, ensuring variety and continual engagement with new challenges. You’ll work independently but as part of a larger team committed to delivering quality assembly services to customers and retail partners.

Assembly Technician - Summary- Assemble a range of large-item retail products on-site in major stores
- Work independently with flexible self-scheduling options
- Performance-based pay structure with the opportunity for increased earnings

- Efficiently and accurately assemble products such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, bikes, and outdoor equipment in retail settings
- Follow assembly instructions and safety guidelines for all assigned builds
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone app for photos, scanning, and invoicing
- Arrive on time for scheduled assignments and maintain a high standard of reliability
- Utilize personal tools and equipment to perform assembly tasks (see list below)
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive working relationships with store staff and customers
- Deliver quality workmanship while meeting or exceeding productivity targets
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding performance, safety, and conduct
- Performance-based pay with an average of $20/hr, and potential to earn up to $60/hr based on efficiency and output
- Weekly payment via direct deposit
- Automated percentage increases for punctuality, reliability, and high-volume assembly completion

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Physically able to lift and maneuver items weighing 50 lbs or more repeatedly
- Reliable personal transportation to travel between retail locations
- Smartphone with a working camera for documentation and communication
- Ownership of essential tools, including:
- 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred)
- Deep metric sockets
- Allen/hex bit set
- Cutting pliers
- Multiple screwdrivers
- Adjustable wrench
- Box cutter/utility knife
- Rubber mallet
- No formal assembly experience required, but must be mechanically inclined and willing to learn
- Mechanically inclined and able to follow detailed instructions
- Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to quality workmanship
- Flexible and adaptable to a variety of assembly tasks and retail environments
- Interested in maximizing earnings through efficiency and high productivity
- This is a contract position with immediate openings in multiple markets
