Assembly Technician - Summary- Work as an Assembly Technician for M&C Assemblies, the leading provider of in-store assembly services nationwide.
- Assemble a variety of large retail products such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, outdoor storage sheds, bikes, and more.
- Enjoy a flexible, self-scheduled work environment with opportunities for performance-based earnings.
- Collaborate with other professionals while working independently at major retail locations.
- Efficiently and accurately assemble a range of products including grills, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, bikes, and outdoor storage sheds on retail premises.
- Use provided assembly instructions and tools to complete builds to quality standards and within specified timeframes.
- Document completed work using a smartphone for scanning, photographing, and invoicing via company app.
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time at job sites, which directly impacts commission rates and job opportunities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe and effective assembly process.
- Communicate professionally with store personnel and M&C Assemblies management as needed.
- Demonstrate reliability by consistently showing up for scheduled assignments and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly and assembling large items.
- Reliable personal transportation to travel between retail locations as needed.
- Ownership of a smartphone with a functioning camera for completing app-based documentation tasks.
- Complete set of personal tools, including (but not limited to): 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred), deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow assembly instructions precisely.
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using a range of hand and power tools.
- Self-motivated and able to manage time and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, punctual, and dedicated to delivering quality workmanship.
