As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of large-item merchandise such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, bikes, and similar products. You will work within retail environments, ensuring all products are constructed accurately, safely, and efficiently according to manufacturer specifications and client expectations. This vital role supports retailers by ensuring that customers receive fully assembled, ready-to-use products, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a wide range of products, including but not limited to grills, outdoor power equipment, furniture sets, wheelbarrows, storage sheds, and bicycles in retail settings
- Follow manufacturer instructions and company protocols to ensure safe, accurate, and timely assembly
- Use personal tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, utility knife, and rubber mallet
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone for photos, scanning, and invoicing through a mobile application
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time at job sites, earning increased commission rates for reliable attendance
- Consistently deliver high-quality builds and demonstrate speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and team members as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and handle large-item assembly
- Reliable personal transportation to and from job sites
- Smartphone with working camera for documentation and invoicing
- Ownership of required tools (18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, rubber mallet)
- No formal experience required, but must be mechanically inclined and ready to work
