Assembly Technician - SummaryAs an Assembly Technician, you will play a vital role in building and assembling a wide range of retail products, including grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, bikes, and similar large items, directly in-store for a leading assembly services provider. Duties & Responsibilities- Assemble various retail products such as grills, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bicycles in-store with precision and care.
- Ensure all builds are completed efficiently, accurately, and according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize personal tools, including cordless drills, socket sets, cutting tools, and more, to complete assigned assembly tasks.
- Document assemblies by capturing photos, scanning items, and processing invoices using a smartphone app.
- Follow a self-scheduling system to manage availability and accept assignments that match your desired work hours.
- Demonstrate punctuality by checking in on time at assigned retail locations to maximize commission potential.
- Maintain a high standard of reliability and quality workmanship to access more assignments and higher-volume stores.
- Comply with all company and store policies to ensure a safe and professional working environment.
- Competitive piece-rate compensation structure; average earnings around $20 per hour, with top performers achieving higher equivalent rates.
- Weekly pay via direct deposit for fast, reliable compensation.
- Performance-based pay increases, including incentives for punctuality, high-quality work, and volume of assemblies completed.

- Work close to home in well-known retail environments, experiencing a wide variety of assembly tasks.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering items weighing 50 pounds or more repeatedly.
- Possess reliable personal transportation to reach various store locations as assigned.
- Own a smartphone with a functioning camera for documentation and communication purposes.
- Have a set of personal tools, including but not limited to: an 18V cordless impact driver or drill (preferred), deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, various screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and adapt to varying assembly tasks.
- No formal experience required; mechanical aptitude and readiness to learn are essential.
- Mechanically inclined individuals with a desire to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work consistently.
- Self-motivated and able to manage their time and assignments effectively using a self-scheduling system.
