Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble products such as grills, BBQs, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, bicycles, and similar large items.
- Ensure all products are assembled correctly, efficiently, and safely according to manufacturer specifications.
- Document assembly using a smartphone for photos, scanning, and invoicing via company app.
- Maintain punctuality and reliability by checking in on time for assigned jobs.
- Utilize your own set of tools, including cordless drills, socket sets, screwdrivers, wrenches, box cutters, and other standard assembly tools.
- Communicate with M&C Assemblies management and retail partners as needed.
- Adhere to company guidelines for quality, safety, and customer service standards.
Salary & Benefits
- Compensation is piece-rate based, with average earnings of $20/hour and top performers reaching up to $60/hour equivalent.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly and handling large-item assembly.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- Smartphone with working camera for job documentation and invoicing.
- Ownership of standard assembly tools, including a cordless impact driver or drill (18V preferred), deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanical aptitude and readiness to work—formal experience is not required.
