Duties & Responsibilities- Assemble a variety of large-item retail products including, but not limited to, grills, BBQ equipment, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture sets, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bicycles.
- Ensure all assembled products meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize personal tools, including but not limited to, 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, utility knife, and rubber mallet, to complete assembly tasks efficiently and correctly.
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone for photos, scanning, and invoicing through the company's proprietary app.
- Maintain consistent communication with M&C Assemblies management and retail partners regarding job status and completion.
- Adhere to scheduled check-in and check-out times to maximize commission and demonstrate reliability.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during assembly and while on retail premises.
- Exhibit professionalism, punctuality, and a commitment to quality in all assignments.
- Competitive piece-rate pay structure, with technicians averaging $20 per hour and top performers reaching the equivalent of $60 per hour with no earning cap.

- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and handling large-item assembly tasks.

- Ownership of a smartphone with a functioning camera for job documentation and communication.
- Ownership of a basic set of personal tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred), deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter or utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn assembly procedures for various products.
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Highly reliable, punctual, and able to self-manage schedules and deadlines.
- Quality-focused with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Physically fit and able to handle repetitive lifting and manual tasks.
- Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work independently or as part of a team.
- No formal assembly experience required, but a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are essential.
