Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a wide range of retail products including but not limited to grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, outdoor storage sheds, bikes, and wheelbarrows
- Follow product manuals and assembly instructions to ensure safe and accurate assembly
- Use hand and power tools such as cordless impact driver or drill, sockets, Allen/hex bit sets, pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, utility knives, and rubber mallets
- Complete assignments efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety
- Document completed work using a smartphone app for photos, scanning, and invoicing
- Prioritize punctuality and reliability by checking in on time at each job site
- Adapt to different assembly projects and store environments, ensuring consistent output and customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with store personnel as needed to coordinate assembly work

Qualifications & Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds or more repeatedly
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to follow detailed assembly instructions
- Reliable personal transportation for travel to and between assignments
- Smartphone with a functional camera for job documentation and app usage
- Ownership of required hand and power tools, including a cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet
