Compensation is based on the number of units assembled, with additional incentives for on-time arrival, high build volume, and quality work. Weekly direct deposit ensures you’re paid promptly for the work you complete.

Assembly Technician - Summary
- Assembles a wide variety of retail products inside major retail stores, including grills, patio furniture, lawnmowers, outdoor storage, and more
- Operates as an independent contractor with flexible scheduling options
- Uses personal tools and smartphone for assembly, documentation, and invoicing

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble products such as grills, lawnmowers, patio furniture, bikes, and outdoor equipment according to manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure all items are built correctly, efficiently, and safely within in-store environments
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, including cordless drills, sockets, screwdrivers, and utility knives
- Document completed work using a smartphone app, including taking photos for verification and invoicing
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time at job sites
- Demonstrate reliability by consistently completing assigned tasks and jobs as scheduled
- Follow all company processes for assembly, safety, and reporting
Salary & Benefits
- Average pay of $20 per hour, with top performers earning up to $60 per hour equivalent (based on units built and efficiency)
- No cap on earnings—more builds equal higher pay

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Physically able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more
- Reliable personal transportation
- Ownership of required tools, including (but not limited to): cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, assorted screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, rubber mallet
- Smartphone with a working camera for photos, scanning, and invoicing through the company app
- Mechanically inclined and able to follow assembly instructions accurately
