As the largest in-store assembly company in the country, we specialize in assembling merchandise inside major retail stores, ensuring products are ready for customers to enjoy. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality service and building a variety of products such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, outdoor equipment, and more.
This Assembly Technician position offers the flexibility to self-schedule your workdays, providing control over your hours and the convenience of working close to home in stores you know. M&C Assemblies values efficiency, reliability, and quality workmanship, rewarding those who consistently perform at a high level with increased earning potential and access to more assignments in higher-volume stores. As an Assembly Technician, you will be compensated based on the quantity and quality of your completed assemblies, with no cap on your earnings. The more you build, the more you can earn.
As an Assembly Technician, your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently assemble a wide range of large-item retail products, including but not limited to:
- Grills and BBQ equipment
- Lawn mowers and outdoor power equipment
- Patio furniture sets
- Wheelbarrows and outdoor storage sheds
- Bicycles and similar items
Our self-scheduling system allows you to systematically block your availability, giving you complete control over your workdays and hours as an Assembly Technician. You will receive weekly pay through direct deposit, and our automated systems reward your performance with percentage increases in your pay rate. By checking in on time, achieving high assembly volumes, and maintaining quality workmanship, you can unlock even higher commission rates and priority access to more desirable assignments.
We require all Assembly Technicians to meet the following qualifications to ensure the highest standard of service for our partners and customers:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50+ pounds and manage large-item assembly tasks
- Reliable personal transportation for travel between job sites
- Smartphone with working camera for tasks such as photographing, scanning, and invoicing via our app
- Ownership of essential assembly tools, including:
- 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred)
- Deep metric sockets
- Allen/hex bit set
- Cutting pliers
- Multiple screwdrivers
- Adjustable wrench
- Box cutter/utility knife
- Rubber mallet
