Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble products such as BBQs, grills, outdoor power tools, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage units, and bicycles according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Ensure all items are securely and correctly assembled for customer use.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the retail environment.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and customers as needed to coordinate assembly tasks and resolve any assembly-related issues.
- Use personal tools and equipment, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
- Document completed work using a smartphone app for photos, scanning, and invoicing purposes.
- Adhere to scheduled appointments and check in on time to maintain priority job access and performance-based rewards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly and managing assembly of large retail items.
- Reliable transportation to travel between store locations as required.
- Smartphone with a functional camera to use the company’s app for documentation and invoicing.
- Possession of personal hand tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, various screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to follow detailed assembly instructions.
- Readiness to work efficiently, with attention to quality and safety.
