If you enjoy hands-on work and are passionate about building and assembling retail products, the Assembly Technician role offers an excellent opportunity to put your mechanical skills to use. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of large retail items, such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, outdoor equipment, and bicycles directly within major retail stores. This position is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, enjoy working independently, and are motivated by performance-based earnings.
Our company is recognized as a national leader in in-store assembly services, consistently delivering high-quality builds for a wide range of well-known retail brands. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that products are assembled safely, accurately, and efficiently, ready for customers to purchase and enjoy. The role provides a dynamic work environment where each day presents a new challenge and a different set of products to assemble. This diversity keeps the job fresh and engaging, allowing you to develop new skills and broaden your experience in the assembly services industry.
Assembly Technicians enjoy a performance-based compensation structure, where earnings are directly tied to the number and quality of completed assemblies. With no earning cap, motivated technicians have the potential to significantly increase their income by consistently delivering fast and accurate work. The company values punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to high standards, rewarding top performers with priority access to more assignments and opportunities in higher-volume retail locations.
Technicians have the flexibility to manage their own schedules, making it an attractive option for those seeking control over their work-life balance. You will be expected to provide your own reliable transportation and tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and a rubber mallet. A smartphone with a working camera is also required, as it is used for documenting completed work and handling job-related communications through the company’s proprietary app.
Physical stamina is essential, as the role involves repeated lifting of items weighing 50 pounds or more, and requires you to spend extended periods on your feet. While formal assembly experience is not required, candidates must demonstrate mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. The company fosters a supportive environment for growth, offering immediate openings for motivated individuals who are ready to start their assembly technician careers.
