Assembly Technician - SummaryAs an Assembly Technician, you will play a vital role in constructing and assembling a variety of high-demand retail products directly within major retail locations. Duties & Responsibilities- Assemble a variety of products, including grills, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, storage sheds, bicycles, and more, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
- Ensure all assembled items meet company and retailer quality standards, with attention to detail and safe construction methods.
- Use hand and power tools, including cordless impact drivers, drills, socket sets, screwdrivers, and other required tools, to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
- Document completed assemblies by taking photographs, scanning barcodes, and using a smartphone app for invoicing and verification.
- Manage daily workflow by self-scheduling assignments, tracking progress, and maximizing productivity through effective time management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in each retail location, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations and customers.
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability by consistently checking in on time at job sites and meeting assignment deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and company representatives to address questions or resolve issues as needed.
- Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and company policies while on assignment.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying items weighing 50 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Reliable access to personal transportation to travel between assignments.
- Ownership of essential tools, including but not limited to: 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Smartphone with functional camera for documentation, scanning, and invoicing using company applications.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed assembly instructions.
- Mechanically inclined with a passion for hands-on work and problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with a track record of punctuality and reliability.
- Efficient and detail-oriented, consistently delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
