Assembly Technician - Summary
The Assembly Technician position with M&C Assemblies is perfect for individuals who take pride in their workmanship, are detail-oriented, and enjoy working independently. As an integral part of the in-store assembly team, you will play a key role in ensuring products are safely and correctly assembled, ready for display or sale to customers. Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a wide range of retail products, including but not limited to grills, BBQ equipment, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bicycles.
- Work efficiently and accurately to meet company and store standards for product assembly.
- Manage your work schedule using M&C Assemblies’ self-scheduling system, maintaining accountability for punctuality and attendance.
- Provide photo documentation and complete invoicing through a mobile application using your smartphone.
- Use your own tools, including a cordless impact driver or drill, socket and hex bit sets, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, utility knife, pliers, and rubber mallet.
- Demonstrate professionalism and a strong work ethic with every assignment.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and company supervisors as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety protocols during assembly projects.
Salary & Benefits
- Performance-based pay; earn an average of $20 per hour, with top performers reaching equivalent of $60 per hour – no earning cap.
- Compensation paid weekly via direct deposit.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Reliable personal transportation required for travel between job sites.
- Smartphone with a functional camera for documentation and app usage.
- Ownership of necessary assembly tools, including (but not limited to):
- 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred)
- Deep metric sockets
- Allen/hex bit set
- Cutting pliers
- Multiple screwdrivers
- Adjustable wrench
- Box cutter/utility knife
- Rubber mallet
- Mechanically inclined and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
