Assembly Technician - Summary
- Assemble a variety of large retail products on-site at major stores
- Use your own tools and transportation to complete assembly tasks

Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficiently assemble products such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, outdoor equipment, bikes, and storage sheds according to manufacturer instructions
- Ensure all merchandise is constructed safely, correctly, and to high quality standards
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone app for photos, scanning, and invoicing
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time at each job site
- Consistently demonstrate reliability and professionalism; no-show absences are not tolerated
- Provide your own standard set of tools needed for assembly, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, various screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and a rubber mallet
- Adhere to all safety and quality control protocols
Salary & Benefits
- Piece-rate pay structure with average earnings of $20/hr; top performers may reach $60/hr equivalent with no cap

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Reliable personal transportation required
- Smartphone with working camera for job documentation
- Ownership of a complete set of assembly tools as specified
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to follow detailed assembly instructions
