Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a variety of large retail merchandise, including grills, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, bikes, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and similar items
- Ensure all assembled products meet safety, quality, and manufacturer standards
- Utilize personal hand and power tools effectively and safely during assembly tasks
- Follow project instructions and store guidelines for product placement and assembly process
- Use a smartphone with camera capabilities for photo documentation, scanning, and invoicing via company app
- Adhere to all company protocols regarding punctuality, reliability, and professional conduct
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout each assembly project
- Communicate effectively with store management and company representatives as needed
- Take personal responsibility for the quality and timely completion of each assignment
Salary & Benefits
- Piece-rate compensation structure with average earnings of $20/hr and top performers earning up to $60/hr equivalent
- No earnings cap – increased pay based on unit completion and efficiency

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Physically able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and handle large-item assembly
- Reliable personal transportation to travel between store locations as needed
- Smartphone with a working camera for documentation and app-based invoicing
- Ownership of essential tools, including:
- 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred)
- Deep metric sockets
- Allen/hex bit set
- Cutting pliers
- Multiple screwdrivers
- Adjustable wrench
- Box cutter/utility knife
- Rubber mallet
- Mechanical aptitude and readiness to work in a fast-paced environment
