As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of merchandise, including grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, outdoor equipment, storage units, and bicycles, directly in major retail stores. Assembly Technicians enjoy the flexibility of a self-scheduling system, allowing you to block your own availability and maintain control over your workdays and hours. The compensation structure is performance-based, offering weekly pay through direct deposit, with no cap on earnings. Higher rates are available to technicians who consistently perform, show up on time, and deliver quality workmanship. In this role, you will use your own set of tools, including a cordless impact driver or drill, metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, a variety of screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet. Assembly Technicians must also have reliable personal transportation and a smartphone with a working camera for handling job-related tasks such as taking photos, scanning, and invoicing through the company's app.
This position is open to candidates at least 18 years of age who can repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more and are prepared for the physical demands of assembling large items. While no formal experience is required, a mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic are essential. Duties & Responsibilities
- Assembling a diverse range of merchandise in-store according to manufacturer specifications
- Utilizing personal tools and equipment to complete assembly tasks safely and efficiently
- Documenting completed work via company app, including taking photos and scanning items
- Maintaining punctuality and reliability for each scheduled assignment
- Delivering high-quality workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction and product safety
- Managing inventory of assembly parts and ensuring all items are accounted for
- Communicating professionally with store staff and company supervisors as needed
- Following all safety protocols and company guidelines during assembly tasks

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years
