Assembly Technician - SummaryAs an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the on-site assembly of a diverse range of retail products. Duties & Responsibilities- Assemble various retail products such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bikes directly inside retail stores.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions to ensure products are built according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize personal tools, including cordless drills, sockets, screwdrivers, and other related equipment, to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
- Document completed work using a smartphone app for photo verification, scanning, and invoicing purposes.
- Maintain punctuality and reliability by checking in on time at assigned job sites.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily assembly quotas and maintain high-quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel as needed to coordinate assembly tasks and resolve any issues during the assembly process.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines provided by M&C Assemblies and partner retailers.
- Performance-based pay with average earnings of $20 per hour, with top performers earning significantly more based on assembly efficiency and accuracy.
- Weekly pay via direct deposit for added convenience and financial stability.
- Automated percentage increases in pay based on punctuality, daily and weekly assembly volume, and quality of workmanship.
- Priority access to additional assignments and higher-traffic stores for reliable and quality-focused technicians.

- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds or more repeatedly and performing assembly of large items.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from job sites.
- Smartphone with a working camera for photo documentation and use of the company app.
- Ownership of essential assembly tools, preferably including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering quality results.
- No formal assembly experience required, but mechanical aptitude is essential.
- Mechanically inclined and confident using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively while working independently.
- Consistently punctual and reliable, with a passion for delivering high-quality work.
- Adaptable, with the ability to handle a variety of assembly tasks and merchandise types.
