This position is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who take pride in their workmanship and value flexibility in managing their schedules.
Working as an Assembly Technician offers you the opportunity to manage your own workdays and hours, giving you significant control over your schedule. You will be responsible for assembling products on-site at retail stores, providing high-quality builds while maintaining a reliable pace. The nature of this position allows for a variety of tasks, as no two days or jobs are exactly alike. Your efficiency and attention to detail are rewarded through a performance-based pay system, where top performers can achieve higher earnings with no upper limit. Compensation is tied directly to the number of units assembled and the quality of workmanship delivered.
Assembly Technicians are expected to use their own basic toolsets, including items such as a cordless impact driver or drill, a set of deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, an adjustable wrench, utility knife, and rubber mallet. In addition, candidates must have access to a reliable vehicle and a smartphone capable of taking photos, scanning, and submitting invoices through the company app. These requirements ensure seamless job completion and communication with supervisors.
To excel in the Assembly Technician role, you must be at least 18 years of age, physically capable of lifting and moving items weighing 50 pounds or more, and able to work both independently and as part of a larger team. Punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to quality work are essential, as these characteristics are directly linked to higher commission rates and access to more desirable job assignments. While formal experience is not required, a strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are important for success.
This position is particularly rewarding for individuals who appreciate autonomy, variety in daily tasks, and the satisfaction of seeing tangible results from their work. Assembly Technicians receive regular direct deposit payments on a weekly basis and benefit from automated pay increases that reflect punctuality and performance. Dependable technicians who consistently deliver high-quality builds and timely check-ins are prioritized for new assignments and high-volume retail locations.
