Assembly Technician - Summary
- Responsible for the assembly of retail products including grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, bicycles, and other large items.
- Work on-site at major retail locations, ensuring all products are safely and accurately built for immediate use by customers.
- Independently manage your schedule and assignments using company-provided technology tools.
- Represent the company with professionalism and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficiently assemble products such as grills, BBQ equipment, lawn mowers, outdoor power tools, patio furniture sets, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage units, and bicycles.
- Utilize personal hand and power tools to complete assemblies according to manufacturer specifications.
- Travel between retail locations using personal transportation as assignments require.
- Use a smartphone to document completed assemblies with photos and submit invoices through the company’s app.
- Maintain punctual check-ins and timely completion of assigned units to maximize performance-based pay increases.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel as needed and uphold a positive company image.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines during assembly tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and handling large-item assembly.
- Dependable personal transportation.
- Smartphone with camera functionality for documentation and invoicing.
- Personal set of tools required, including (but not limited to):
- 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred)
- Deep metric sockets
- Allen / hex bit set
- Cutting pliers
- Various screwdrivers
- Adjustable wrench
- Box cutter / utility knife
- Rubber mallet
- Mechanically inclined and able to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
