As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling a wide range of consumer products according to manufacturer and retailer guidelines. You will travel to various retail locations to complete hands-on assembly tasks, ensuring all products are constructed safely and efficiently. Your ability to work independently, while also following precise instructions, will be crucial in delivering high-quality finished products that meet or exceed customer expectations. The Assembly Technician position is designed for individuals who have a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in mechanical processes. You must be able to lift and maneuver products weighing at least 50 pounds and possess dependable transportation for commuting between retail locations. The use of your own tools—including a cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, hex/Allen sockets, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and a rubber mallet—is required to complete daily assignments efficiently. Additionally, a smartphone with a working camera is essential for documenting completed assemblies and submitting invoices electronically.
