Assembly Technician - Summary
As an Assembly Technician, you will assemble a range of consumer products, such as outdoor furniture, grills, bikes, and other large items, at major retail locations. This hands-on position is best suited for dependable, mechanically skilled individuals who are capable of working independently and are committed to delivering excellent results. The role allows you to set your own schedule, work close to home, and take advantage of weekly direct deposit pay. Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble various large-item consumer products such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bikes in-store at major retail locations.
- Ensure all products are assembled accurately, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
- Utilize personal tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Document completed assemblies through a company-provided app, using a smartphone to take photos, scan items, and invoice jobs.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while working in customer-facing retail environments.
- Adhere to all company and retailer policies regarding conduct, safety, and store operations.
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability by checking in on time and consistently meeting or exceeding productivity targets.
- Communicate with dispatch or management as needed regarding job status and assignment updates.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically able to lift and maneuver items weighing 50 lbs or more repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Reliable personal transportation to travel between job sites as needed.
- Ownership of required hand and power tools, including but not limited to an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, sockets, screwdrivers, pliers, utility knife, and mallet.
- Smartphone with a working camera, capable of running the company's mobile app for documentation, invoicing, and communication.
- Mechanically inclined and able to interpret assembly instructions and diagrams with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- No formal experience required, but must be ready to learn and able to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
