As an Assembly Technician, your daily responsibilities involve traveling to assigned retail sites to professionally assemble products according to manufacturer specifications. Your work contributes directly to customer satisfaction, as you play a vital role in making sure products are ready for display and use.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be expected to manage your time effectively, maintain a safe working environment, and document completed assemblies using a smartphone for invoicing purposes. Consistent performance is rewarded, as earnings are directly tied to the number and quality of assemblies completed.

To succeed as an Assembly Technician, you must have reliable transportation to travel between retail locations and possess your own set of essential tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex sockets, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet. Physical fitness is important since lifting and maneuvering heavy items, up to 50lbs, is a regular part of the job. Strong communication skills and professionalism are also key, as you will interact with retail staff and possibly customers during assembly projects.
