As an Assembly Technician, you will work directly on-site at retail locations, assembling items such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, bicycles, outdoor sheds, and other large consumer products. The Assembly Technician position is a contract role, and successful candidates will need to provide their own tools and reliable transportation to various retail sites.

Key responsibilities include assembling products on-site, adhering to company and manufacturer guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and consistently meeting or exceeding performance targets for speed and quality. As an Assembly Technician, you must be physically capable of lifting and maneuvering products weighing 50 pounds or more repeatedly throughout your shift. You should have a personal smartphone with a functioning camera to document your work, as well as a standard set of assembly tools including, but not limited to, an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet. Mechanical aptitude and a readiness to work are essential, though formal experience is not required.
