The role of an Assembly Technician is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined and eager to work hands-on with a diverse range of large retail products. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling products such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor sheds, bikes, and other large-item merchandise directly inside major retail stores. To succeed as an Assembly Technician, candidates must be at least 18 years old, able to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly, and possess reliable personal transportation. Additionally, a smartphone with a working camera is necessary for documenting completed assemblies and utilizing company apps for scanning and invoicing. Candidates must also supply their own set of tools, including but not limited to a cordless impact driver or drill, metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
