As the largest in-store assembly company in the country, we specialize in assembling a wide range of high-demand retail products directly in major stores. If you have a knack for putting things together and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this Assembly Technician opportunity could be the ideal fit for you.
Our Assembly Technicians play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive fully assembled products such as grills, BBQs, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, bikes, and other large-item builds. Working directly inside retail locations, you will be responsible for assembling products efficiently and accurately, contributing to a positive customer experience and supporting store operations. This is a great role for individuals who are mechanically inclined and comfortable using a variety of tools.
Joining M&C Assemblies as an Assembly Technician offers you the flexibility to manage your own schedule. Our self-scheduling system allows you to set your availability, giving you control over your workdays and hours. As you demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and punctuality, you will gain priority access to more assignments and higher-volume stores. Assembly Technicians are compensated based on the number of units they complete, with opportunities for weekly pay through direct deposit and performance-based pay increases. If you value working independently while being rewarded for your productivity and quality workmanship, this role is tailored for you.
To be considered for the Assembly Technician position, you must meet several key requirements. You must be at least 18 years old and physically capable of lifting 50 pounds or more repeatedly, as large-item assembly is a primary function of the job. Reliable personal transportation is necessary to commute between store assignments, and a smartphone with a working camera is required for documenting completed work and managing tasks through our company app. Additionally, you must have your own set of basic tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, an Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, an adjustable wrench, a box cutter/utility knife, and a rubber mallet.
M&C Assemblies values punctuality, reliability, and quality workmanship. Assembly Technicians who consistently check in on time, never miss assignments, and deliver high-quality work are rewarded with higher commission rates, more assignments, and opportunities to work in high-volume stores. No formal assembly experience is required, but candidates must be mechanically inclined and ready to work efficiently and effectively. If you are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and are eager to be rewarded for your efforts, we encourage you to submit your application for the Assembly Technician position today.
