Assembly Technician - Summary
- Perform in-store assembly of large retail items such as grills, patio furniture, outdoor equipment, bikes, and storage sheds.
- Work independently within assigned retail locations, ensuring products are assembled accurately and efficiently.
- Self-schedule work hours and manage daily assignments for optimal flexibility.

- Engage directly with store staff to coordinate assembly tasks and maintain a positive working environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a diverse range of products, including but not limited to grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bikes, directly within retail stores.
- Ensure all assembled products meet company standards for quality, safety, and durability.
- Use personal tools and follow assembly instructions provided by manufacturers and M&C Assemblies.
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone app, including taking photos for verification and invoicing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the retail environment.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and M&C Assemblies management as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and customer service protocols.

- Competitive piece-rate compensation model with average earnings of $20 per hour and top performers earning up to $60 per hour or more.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Physical ability to repeatedly lift over 50 lbs and manage large-item assembly tasks.
- Reliable personal transportation to travel to assigned retail locations.
- Smartphone with an operational camera for app-based documentation and invoicing.
- Ownership of essential hand and power tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred), deep metric sockets, allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, various screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail; previous formal assembly experience is not required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential for success and increased earnings in this role.
