In this full-time Assembly Technician position, you will be responsible for assembling various types of consumer products at client retail locations. Your tasks will include interpreting assembly instructions, troubleshooting assembly issues, and ensuring that all products are securely and safely constructed. As an Assembly Technician, you will also be expected to maintain your own set of tools and reliable transportation in order to fulfill the requirements of each assignment. In addition, you should own a smartphone equipped with a camera, which will be utilized for invoicing and documentation purposes. Essential personal tools include an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen or hex sockets, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, an adjustable wrench, a box cutter, and a rubber mallet. These tools are critical for assembling various products efficiently and accurately.
