Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficiently and correctly assemble products such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bikes
- Transport and use your own tools for all assembly tasks
- Ensure all items are built to manufacturer specifications and store requirements
- Accurately document completed work using a smartphone app for photos, scanning, and invoicing
- Meet daily and weekly productivity goals based on the number of items assembled
- Maintain a high standard of quality and safety during all assembly tasks
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and M&C Assemblies management
- Demonstrate punctuality by checking in on time at each job site
- Represent M&C Assemblies professionally in all store environments

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and handle large-item assembly tasks
- Reliable personal transportation to job sites is required
- Smartphone with a working camera for documentation and app usage
- Ownership of necessary tools, including:
- 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred)
- Deep metric sockets
- Allen/hex bit set
- Cutting pliers
- Multiple screwdrivers
- Adjustable wrench
- Box cutter/utility knife
- Rubber mallet
- Mechanically inclined, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly challenges
