Apartment Maintenance Technician - Summary- Maintain and repair apartment units and common areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction.
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete tasks efficiently and professionally.
- Contribute to a positive community environment through teamwork and excellent service.
- Promptly respond to maintenance service requests from residents and management.
- Assist in preparing market-ready units, including removing trash from vacant apartments and ensuring units meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, carpentry, and electrical issues, including but not limited to appliance repairs, minor plumbing, and HVAC-related tasks under supervision if not certified.
- Install locks, make keys, and perform basic security hardware maintenance as necessary.
- Replace light bulbs in common areas to maintain safety and visibility.
- Remove trash and debris from office areas, parking lots, and throughout the apartment community daily.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, and other common areas.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure maintenance priorities are addressed in a timely manner.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies for property maintenance and repairs.
